How to Use My Life Freedom Debit Card

Check my balance and transactions

You can check your balance by doing one of the following:

  • Login into your account on the Web
  • Call (866) 498-0010. Have your card and PIN ready.

View my statements

Your account statements are available online. Simply login and click on "View my statements."

Why is my card not working?

Account Balance

You can not spend more than your balance. Avoid fees, as they will reduce your balance. Check your account balance online or call a Life Freedom Card Representative at (866) 498-0010 to get your balance rather than using an ATM because each time you check using an ATM you will pay fees.

PIN Number

You will need to know your PIN every time you use your card. Do not give your PIN number to anyone. If the PIN number has been entered wrong to times, the card will no longer work. Please contact a Life Freedom Card Representative at (866) 498-0010 and have it reset.

Card has been swiped as Credit Card instead of Debit Card

Your Life Freedom card is a debit card only. If used as credit card it will not work.

Transaction Limits

There is a $300 per/day limit for ATMs. Point of sale transactions will allow $2,500 per/day.

Report lost or stolen card

If your card is lost or stolen immediately do one of the following:

  • Login into your account and click on "Report lost or stolen card." Next, follow instructions provided on the screen to disable your card.
  • Email Us
  • Call a LIfe Freedom Card Representative at (866) 498-0100 and report your lost or stolen debit card.

How to minimize ATM service fees

  • Use only ATMs with the STARsf logo because other ATMs will charge your fees.
  • Avoid fees by using your card in stores and getting cash back rather than using ATMs.
  • Buy Money Orders to pay bills.
